Title graphic - Top Costco Treats and Snacks for Christmas.

I think I’m well qualified to make a list of the best Costco chocolates, treats and snacks for the holiday season. Basically, there are two reasons for this: I love the holidays, and every year I make it my mission to try all of the new Christmas treats each year. As a bonus, I’m also obsessed with Costco in general and I keep a close eye on what Costco shoppers go crazy for every holiday season.

I love seeing what Costco brings out for the holidays each year. Most of the items seem to stay the same year after year, but there are always a few new ones to add some excitement! I decided to use my knowledge to put together my official list of the best Costco chocolates, treats and snacks for Christmas. Most of these goodies are also great to have around for New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day celebrations too!

If you’re looking for Costco treat ideas for the holidays, you’ve stumbled upon the right post. I also have other lists for the top Costco bakery items for Christmas and the top Costco appetizers for Christmas.

Now let’s get started and check out the top Costco chocolates, snacks and treats for the 2024 Christmas and holiday season!

Truffettes De France Chocolate Truffles

The box of Truffettes De France Chocolate Truffles has four big bags of truffles inside.

The Costco Trufettes De France Chocolate Truffles are perfect for any chocolate lover. They’re rich, very chocolatey, creamy and not overly sweet. Everyone I know who’s tried these truffles loves them. You get a ton of chocolate truffles in just one box.

Kirkland Signature European Cookies

The high-quality Belgian chocolate used in these cookies really stands out.

The Costco Kirkland Signature European Cookies come in a fancy tin with a variety of biscuits that are covered with milk, dark and white Belgian chocolate. The chocolate on these cookies is delicious and the biscuits are nice and crispy.

Kirkland Signature Macadamia Clusters

My favorite chocolates from Costco!

The Kirkland Signature Macadamia Clusters are my absolute favorite chocolate treat to have during the holidays. They remind me of a Turtle, but I think they’re much tastier. These macadamia caramel clusters often sell out quickly and are available for a short period of time each year, so keep an eye out and don’t miss your chance to buy them! This photo isn’t great, so I’m thinking I should probably buy another container so I can update it…

Kirkland Signature Premium Quality Whole Mixed Nuts

Fresh, high-quality nuts without a bunch of peanuts as filler.

The Costco Kirkland Signature Premium Quality Whole Mixed Nuts are fresh and delicious. Most mixed nuts from the store have a lot of peanuts in them, but the Kirkland Signature Mixed Nuts don’t even have whole peanuts in the jar! The jar contains a mix of cashews, almonds, brazil nuts, pecans and macadamia nuts – a perfect snack to have out around Christmastime. This is yet another simple, well-made staple item from Kirkland Signature.

Lacey’s Desserts On Us Macadamia Milk Chocolate Cookies

Warning: these cookies are addictive!

Some people might argue whether or not the Lacey’s Desserts On Us Chocolate Macadamia Milk Chocolate Cookies are actually cookies. You could argue that they’re more like a chocolate. Call them what you want, they’re absolutely heavenly. They’re crispy, sweet, chocolatey and nutty. Be forewarned though, every single person who tries these cookies talks about how addictive they are!

Häagen-Dazs Peppermint Bark Ice Cream Bars

These limited edition Häagen-Dazs Peppermint Bark Ice Cream Bars are only out for the holiday season at Costco, I highly recommend picking up a box while you can to try. They’re not too minty, which I like and have a delicious creamy combination of chocolate and peppermint.

The Sticky Toffee Pudding Co. Sticky Toffee Pudding

This sticky toffee pudding is rich and indulgent – perfect for Christmas dessert!

This sticky date cake with a buttery toffee sauce that’s heated in the oven is so rich, sweet and decadent! It pairs amazingly well with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream and is sure to warm your belly during the holiday season. A little slice is all I need to feel completely satisfied.

Kirkland Signature Peppermint Bark

The peppermint bark has a mild mint flavor with combined with delicious chocolate!

I usually don’t enjoy peppermint bark, but I do enjoy the Kirkland Signature Peppermint Bark. The bark isn’t overly sweet and the chocolate tastes like decent quality, rich white and dark chocolate. There are peppermint candy cane fragments sprinkled all over the top of the bark, which gives it a nice crunchy texture!

Gudrun Fine Belgian Chocolates

The Gudrun chocolates are some of the best chocolates I’ve had from Costco.

I’ve tried a lot of Christmas chocolates from Costco and I think the Gudrun chocolates are better than most. They taste more premium than the other chocolates I’ve reviewed if that makes sense. I also found the different flavors very pleasing. If you’re looking to gift someone chocolates, I recommend these Gudrun ones. On top of tasting great, the packaging is very nice.

Lindt Lindor Assorted Chocolates

The Lindor chocolates are extremely creamy and rich.

The Lindt Lindor Assorted Chocolates are the most amazing simple, high-quality chocolates. They melt in your mouth, are so smooth and unbelievably creamy. I promise you, they do not disappoint! The box includes milk chocolate, dark chocolate, white chocolate and hazelnut versions of these classic chocolates. My favorite is the milk chocolate one in the red wrapper for sure.

Costco Kirkland Signature Cranberry Almond Bark

If you dislike peppermint bark, this Kirkland Signature Cranberry Almond Bark might be the chocolate bark treat for you! It has creamy white and milk chocolate, slivers of almonds and sweet dried cranberries in it.

  3. The KS peppermint bark is different this year – it comes in a 624g box and has a layer of white chocolate in addition to the dark chocolate base and the candy cane on top.

Do you happen to know if the peppermint Pretzel Crisps are available in Canada this year? I picked up a bag once years ago, either in the US or Canada, but haven’t seen them again since. I emailed Snack Factory to ask and didn’t receive a response.
