Bite-sized peppermint white chocolate truffles from Costco for the Christmas season!
I found these Costco Truffettes De France Peppermint White Chocolate Bites at Costco last Friday and knew I had to pick them up to try them. These are new this year to Costco.
I absolutely love the Truffettes De France Chocolate Truffles from Costco. I also really like the Lindt Lindor Assorted Chocolates, the CHOCXO Mini Hedgehogs, the Hawaiian Sun Chocolate Macadamia Nuts and the Kirkland Signature Macadamia Clusters.
Location in Store
You can find these in the Christmas / seasonal aisle at Costco. The item number is 1553066.
Taste
The Peppermint White Chocolate Bites have a shell of white chocolate with pieces of candy cane mixed in it surrounding a chocolate truffle. They’re less sweet than I expected them to be. They’re still quite sweet but not but not overpoweringly sweet.
The pieces of candy cane give the bites a bit of crunch and just a hint of peppermint flavor. The crunchiness and peppermint flavor are noticeable, but the pieces of candy cane are pretty small, so you notice the flavors of the two kinds of chocolate more than anything.
The white chocolate shell is quite sweet, but good. The chocolate truffle center is rich and tasty. The taste of the chocolate truffle dominates when you eat a whole Peppermint White Chocolate Bite, but the white chocolate and candy cane pieces definitely add some extra deliciousness!
Cost
I paid $12.99 Canadian for the 700 gram bag of Truffettes De France Peppermint White Chocolate Bites.
Convenience
The best before date is about 14 months from the date I purchased the truffles. I recommend storing them in a cool, dry place.
These are going to be a hit if you offer them to guests around the holidays! They’re a nice treat to have with your Christmas morning coffee.
