The Cheesecake Factory is renowned for its delicious cheesecake that comes in plenty of different flavors. So when I saw their frozen cheesecake at Costco I knew I had to try it. I love cheesecake and the flavors in this box sound delightful. But with a hefty price tag, is it worth the splurge?
Location in Store
You can find the cheesecake in the freezer section, near the frozen desserts like the Kirkland Signature Super Premium Vanilla Ice Cream, Poppies Profiteroles and the Melona Frozen Dessert Bars. The item number is 2813599.
Taste
There are four flavors of cheesecake in the box, White Chocolate Truffle Raspberry Cheesecake, Vanilla Bean Cheesecake, Dulce De Leche Caramel Cheesecake and Godiva Double Chocolate Cheesecake and I tried them all.
I thought the raspberry was going to be my favorite but I find it a bit dsappinting! It doesn’t have a ton of raspberry flavor in it. Only the parts with raspberry swirled in it have a raspberry flavor but even those parts don’t taste totally like raspberry. The cheesecake itself has a nice white chocolate flavor that I do enjoy and I love that the crust is a chocolate cookie crust. I just wish there were more raspberry swirl.
The chocolate is very good and has a really nice, smooth, sweet chocolate flavor! The Dulce De Leche Caramel Cheesecake is very good, it’s probably my favorite! It has a sweet, creamy, strong caramel flavor.
The vanilla bean is okay, it’s a bit plain but has a slight French vanilla flavor that adds a little extra flavor to it. The whipped cream on top isn’t too oily or sweet it’s nice tasting and kind of breaks up the sweetness. The crust on all of the cheesecakes is pretty tasty and not too hard.
Cost
This frozen cheesecake is not at all cheap. The box comes with 12 medium-sized slices of cheesecake and costs $32.99 Canadian.
Convenience
The cheesecake is packaged conveniently, there are four sections and each section has three slices of cheesecake in the same flavor in it. The cheesecake needs to be kept frozen and the best before date is about five months from when we bought it. I recommend taking it out of the freezer to thaw for about 30 minutes before you eat it.
I think this would be perfect to have in your freezer for when you decide to randomly have guests over for dinner and need a convenient dessert to offer! It’s nice that there are four different flavors to choose from!

Ingredients
The ingredients list is very long and full of lots of unhealthy ingredients like sugar, glucose-fructose, palm kernel oil, corn syrup and artificial flavors but that’s not really surprising for a packaged, store-bought cheesecake. The cheesecake contains egg, milk, soy and wheat and may contain peanuts and tree nuts.

Overall for a store bought cheesecake this is pretty good, I like that the cheesecake isn’t too heavy and not too sweet.
