Costco dairy-free frozen dessert bar that doesn’t taste dairy-free! These are so delicious!
Ice cream is a staple in our house, we have an abudance of ice cream and frozen desserts in our freezer that we eat every week whether it’s -40 or +40 degrees outside. Most of the frozen desserts we enjoy have dairy but I noticed Costco is carrying these So Delicious Dairy Free Dipped Salted Caramel Bars that instead of dairy are cashew based, I wanted to try them out so I picked them up to review!
I’ve reviewed a few frozen treats from Costco like the Brown Sugar Boba Bars, the Traditions Organic Fudge Bars, Heavenfull Stroopwafel Sandwiches, Dole Frozen Acai Bowls, Island Way Sorbet, Kirkland Signature Vanilla Almond Ice Cream Bars, KitKat Ice Cream Bars and Sean’s favorite the Oreo Ice Cream Sandwiches!
The So Delicious dairy-free bars can be found in the freezer section at Costco by the ice cream and other frozen desserts. The item number is 1402328.
Taste
If you blind tasted tested me I would have no idea that these are dairy-free! They taste just like a regular dairy ice cream bar to me. The chocolate on the outside is crunchy, sweet, smooth and delicious and was surprisingly good quality tasting chocolate.
The non-dairy frozen cashew milk is creamy, smooth and tastes a lot like regular vanilla ice cream with swirls of delicious, sweet, salty caramel. I was surpised how good these were and so was my husband! He made the comment that he would happily finish the box which is something coming from a guy who’s very pro-dairy frozen desserts.
Cost
I paid $8.79 Canadian for the box of eight frozen dessert bars. Not bad at all for eight dairy-free frozen dessert bars from Costco.
Convenience
Perfect for summer and to have in your freezer for your dairy-free, lactose intolerant friends! The bars are individually wrapped and there’s two smaller boxes of four bars in the bigger box. The best before date is listed as almost a year and a half from the date we purchased the bars.
Nutrition
These are dairy-free and gluten-free! The non-dairy frozen dessert is cashew-based so if you’re allergic to nuts you’ll probably want to skip these.
One bar is 180 calories, 13 grams of fat, 17 grams of carbohydrates, one gram of fibre, 13 grams of sugar, one gram of protein and 105 mg of sodium. Just because these are dairy-free it does not make them healthy, these are definitely a treat!

Overall
Give it a try!
I was so pleasently surpised for my lactose intolerant and dairy-free readers that allthough these are dairy-free they taste just as good as a delicious ice cream bar!
Have you tried these? What did you think? Do you have a favorite frozen dessert from Costco?

Please consider the Non-Dairy Almond big M Magnum frozen Dessert Bars!!!! My entire family would love to see them in stock for their purchase. We are all lactose intolerant. We are a three generation family of twenty can not eat regular ice cream without serious cramping and other issues. The Belgian chocolate and almonds makes that bar velvety and soooo indulging. We have been executive members for 31 years. Thank for your consideration. We will be grateful.
Hi and thanks for the reviews
