Costco Que Pasa Jalapeno & Lime Tortilla Chips Review

Flavorful, organic, gluten-free tortilla chips from Costco with a touch of jalapeno heat!

Today I’m reviewing the Costco Que Pasa Jalapeno & Lime Tortilla Chips from Costco. Que pasa has had a few flavors of tortilla chips available at Costco over the last few years and I’m always excited to try them.

I’ve reviewed a ton of different tortilla chips from Costco like the Que Pasa Sweet & Spicy Ranch Tortilla Chips, Que Pasa Nacho Tortilla Chips, Que Pasa Organic Tortilla Chips, Kirkland Signature Organic Nacho Cheese Tortilla Chips, Food Should Taste Good Multigrain Tortilla Chips and the Food Should Taste Good Guacamole Tortilla Chips.

Taste

I’m not someone who can handle really hot or spicy food so was a little bit worried about these tortilla chips being too spicy but they’re actually not overly spicy! They do have a moderate amount of heat but I didn’t find it to be so much that I couldn’t enjoy the chips.

The lime flavor isn’t really discernable which I like because a lot of lime flavored chips I find too sour, artificial tasting or limey but these have just a touch of lime flavor. They’re thick and crunchy, flavorful and salty!

The Costco Que Pasa Jalapeno & Lime Tortilla Chips are flavorful enough that you can just enjoy them alone and don’t need any additional dip which I appreciate!

Cost

This 670 gram bag costs $6.99 Canadian at Costco. Not bad for a big bag of organic chips!

Convenience

These are delicious alone or you can pair them with some dips from Costco like the Good Foods Plant Based Queso Style Dip or the Costco La Terra Fina Queso Dip with Cheddar!

The bag doesn’t reseal which is a bummer because it takes us a few weeks to eat one bag, I just use a clothes pin to seal my bag. The best before date is about three months from the date we purchased the chips.

Nutrition

23 chips is 230 calories, 11 grams of fat, 240 mg of sodium, 30 grams of carbohydrates, three grams of fibre, one gram of sugar and three grams of protein.

Also for my gluten-free readers, these are certified gluten-free and they are also organic and vegan!

These are perfect to enjoy at a summer BBQ or to snack on with a refreshing beverage on the patio!
