Sweet organic chocolate flavored Costco granola with chunks of dark chocolate & strawberries!
I am the queen of Costco granola reviews. I’m slightly obsessed with granola and eat it pretty much every weekend as a treat so I’ve pretty much tried all the granolas that Costco sells.
What granola does Costco sell? They have the Nature’s Path Organic Pumpkin Seed + Flax Granola, innofoods Organic Grain Free Granola, Nature’s Path Ancient Grains Granola, Quaker Greek Yogurt Protein Granola, Coconut and Cashew Butter Granola and of course the Costco Kirkland Signature Chewy Granola Bars!
You can find the Love Crunch granola in the cereal aisle near the other granola, the item number is 870940.
Taste
This is the kind of granola I’d rather have for dessert than breakfast. The rolled oats in the granola are very sugary with a very slight hint of chocolate flavor.
There’s freeze dried raspberries and strawberries in the granola which are sweet with a bit of tartness. The texture of the berries is spongy and they kind of dissolve in your mouth. The dark chocolate chunks taste like pretty good quality mildy sweet dark chocolate which was a pleasent surprise!
The overall flavor of the granola reminds me of a chocolate covered strawberry. This is definitely not one my favorite tasting granolas from Costco. I found it a little too sweet and I’m not a fan of having chocolate for breakfast so would only enjoy this as a snack or dessert.
Cost
I paid $7.99 Canadian for the 750 gram bag of granola.
Convenience
The Love Crunch granola can be had for breakfast, a snack or dessert! The bag reseals which is appreciated because it keeps it fresh for longer.
The best before date on my bag of Costco Love Crunch is about ten months from the date I purchased the granola.
Nutrition
Not the healthiest granola, that’s for sure. the cane sugar and soy oil are the second and third ingredients listed on the granola bag. If you’re looking for a low-sugar granola. This is not it.
One half cup serving is 250 calories, nine grams of fat, 37 grams of carbohydrates, 105 mg of sodium, three grams of fibre, 12 grams of sugar and five grams of protein.

Give it a try!
I think kids would really love this granola but my adult taste buds found it too sweet and chocolaty for breakfast!

Our family loves this Love Crunch granola! It’s our favourite. We’ve been having a hard time finding this. Looks like they discontinued it in the Vancouver area locations ☹
Oh no! I recently tried the Nature’s Organic Cococa one with coconut sugar and avocado oil and loved it. Although not available at Costco.
