Costco Lotus Biscoff Sandwich Cookies Review

Lotus Biscoff cookies are well-known for their irresistible crunch and the sweet blend of cinnamon and caramel flavors. Now, you can indulge in the delicious taste of two Lotus Biscoff cookies, sandwiched together with a smooth layer of Biscoff cream filling, thanks to these Lotus Biscoff Sandwich Cookies from Costco. As a fan of the original cookies, I was excited to try these sandwich versions!

Location in Store

I found these on an island in the bakery section near other packaged cookies and crackers like the Aussie Bites and the Schwartz Brothers Bakery Organic Everything Bagel Chips. The item number is 1769437.

Taste

I like these cookies a lot but I also love the regular Lotus Biscoff cookies. These sandwich cookies are a sweeter, richer version of the regular Biscoff cookies.

The cream sandwiched between the two cookies is a sweet, cinnamon, cookie butter flavored cream. The cookies aren’t super crunchy, they’re crispy but aren’t hard and the creamy center softens them.

Cost

The box comes with six sleeves of sandwich cookies and costs $15.99 Canadian. That’s under three dollars per sleeve of cookies which is really quite cheap!

Convenience

The best before date is roughly ten months from when I purchased the cookies. I like that there are six sleeves of cookies instead of one or two big packages of cookies because it keeps then you don’t have a bunch of cookies open and going stale.

These are great for a snack or dessert. I could see using them in baking, or as a cake topper or served with ice cream or gelato.

Nutrition

Calories

Three cookies contain 160 calories, eight grams of fat, 20 grams of carbohydrates, zero grams of fibre, 11 grams of sugar and 100 milligrams of sodium. I only need one or two cookies to satisfy my sweet tooth so that’s not too many calories or fat!

Ingredients

The ingredients list is short and sweet but still full of unhealthy ingredients like sugars, vegetable oil and soy flour. At least they have actual cinnamon in them! The cookies contain wheat and soy and may contain milk.
