Costco Lole Packable Jacket Review

This Costco Lole Packable Jacket is the perfect length, looks nice and is very comfy!

I know that I just reviewed a clothing item from Costco, the Paradox Packable Down Jacket from Costco but I wanted to review the Lole Packable Jacket from Costco ASAP as well because one of my least favorite things about Costco is how something will be there one trip and then it’s gone right away!

Some of my other favorite Costco clothing items are the Lole Lounge Pants, the LazyPants Joggers and Hoodie, Women’s Skechers Shoes, Tuff Athletics T-Shirt and Kate Spade Blanket.

I sent my trusty husband to pick up the Lole Packable Jacket for me! They’re hanging up on a rack in the clothing section with the Paradox Jackets and the item number is 1521787.

Look

This is such a cute, light, attractive jacket! The jacket goes far past my bum to just above my knees, has a hood and cute drawstrings in the front. It’s slightly poofy looking but not super puff.

I got Sean to pick up both a size small and medium. the black is size small and the white is size medium, the size small fit me perfectly and I still had some curves in it. The size medium created a box-like, full look but that’s because it was too big for me.

The jackets come in three colors, white, black and blue. I’m obsessed with the white, it has stylish grey drawstrings on the front and just looks really bright and clean. The white was too big for me because it was medium and Sean told me there was no way I should be having a white coat in the first place due to my tendencies to get random stains on all my white clothes.

The black is also nice with black drawstrings and the blue is a really pretty blue but I just never gravitate towards color. I’ll be keeping the black.

Cost

I paid $59.99 Canadian for the Lole Packable Jacket which is the regular price.

Sizing

Small definitely fit me better than the medium did, at 5’5 and anywhere from 128-135 lbs I never know if I’m going to be a small or medium but the small fit well with still lots of room for a sweater underneath. The medium was too big and looked unflattering.

The sizes available are small, medium, large, xl and xxl which is awesome, if you’re super teeny tiny you might find the smalls are a bit too big. I would say the jackets run true to size or even slightly big.

Feel and Functions

The jacket isn’t filled with down but with Primaloft which is a sustainable insulation product. It’s wind and water resistant as well as packable and made with recycled polyester fabric. The hood is not detachable and the pockets have zippers.

I found this easier to pack in the bag it comes with inside the coat than the Paradox Packable Jacket but after it’s packed the bag for the Lole jacket is a bit large in size than the Paradox bag is.

The jacket feels extremely light and comfortable, you barely can tell you’re wearing a jacket. I haven’t tested it yet in colder temperatures but I will. I love how it goes well past my butt for added warmth. If you’re a long jacket fan like me you may want to check this one out.

  1. Hi
I got one too. Love it. Thought there were inside pockets . Was excited. But they are open at the bottom. Any idea what these are for?? Lol
    Thanks

  2. I bought this item in black, but the hood does upzip and the extra long cuffs have thumb holes. Check yours and see if the hood has a zip.

  4. Hi, thanks for the review! I told my daughter about it and she went and picked one up. She’s usually an XL but found the arms a bit tight so sized up to allow for wearing a sweater underneath. She got the blue and it looks awesome!

  5. I bought one of these from my Costco in Courtenay B.C. The X large was too tight but when I went back to get a XXLARGE in blue there non. I love the jacket. How can I find out if it is available at another store?
