Costco is now selling Kirkland Signature Cream Cheese to go along with their bagels!
New in my local Costco is this Kirkland Signature Strawberry Cream Cheese I’m reviewing today! This is a perfect pairing to the Kirkland Signature bagels that everyone loves. Costco carries plain bagels, jalapeno cheddar bagels, imitation blueberry bagels, everything bagels and my favorite cinnamon raisin bagels.
The Costco Kirkland Signature Strawberry Cream Cheese can be found in the refrigerated bakery section beside the cakes and the item number is 1486202.
Taste
I thought this cream cheese would be a lot sweeter and artificial tasting but it’s actually not very sweet and just has a subtle strawberry flavor. You get lots of tangy flavor with a hint of natural strawberry flavor.
The texture is extremely light and fluffy like a whipped cream cheese and not at all heavy. If you like a thicker, heavier cream cheese, this is not it. It is very easy to spread or dip into!
Cost
I paid $4.99 Canadian for the container of cream cheese. Each cream cheese flavor was the same price, $4.99. This is a pretty decent sized cream cheese for only $4.99!
The current flavors Costco is carrying are jalapeno, roasted garlic and strawberry.
Convenience
The cream cheese comes in a plastic resealable container, the best before date is exactly three weeks from the date I purchased the Costco cream cheese.
The Costco Kirkland Strawberry Cream Cheese makes a perfect dip for fruit, digestive cookies, crackers and bagels. You could use the cream cheese to make different recipes like strawberry cream cheese chocolate truffles or strawberry cream cheese frosting!
Nutrition
One tablespoon of strawberry cream cheese is around 80 calories, six to eight grams of fat and four to eight grams of sugar.
Cream cheese is also low in carbohydrates as long as it’s not loaded with sugar. I love that they use real strawberries in the cream cheese.

What do you think of Costco carrying their own cream cheese?

Loved the strawberry cream cheese but find they no longer carry it. If anyone knows where I can still purchase it please let me know. Well worth it.
Just purchased the roasted garlic cream cheese. Delicious! And lots of garlic pieces, its the real deal. Try it on bagels, toast or crackers. Worth a try! 😀
No offense but I absolutely hated this cream cheese and I plan on returning it. There’s no sweetness, it’s very sour. I take Philly any day over this. However, I do often agree with your reviews so thank you for introducing me to new products!
Thanks for sharing your opinion on it! I love hearing what others think.
I decided to keep it and I pour some type of sweetener on it. Tastes better that way!
Is it made in store? Or elsewhere and portioned out in store?
Hi Joan! I believe it’s made in store but you’d have to verify that with your local Costco.
Thank you for this! I’ll absolutely be looking for this on my next trip. I love flavoured cream cheese but it’s so expensive at the bagel shop (although they do have a lot of great flavours!). Love your reviews!
