Today I’m reviewing the Costco Kirkland Signature Raspberry Crumble Cookies. I’m a big cookie fan and enjoy the other cookies I’ve tried from the Costco bakery.

Other cookies I’ve tried from the Costco bakery are the Costco Kirkland Signature Peanut Butter Cookies, Costco Kirkland Signature Ginger Cookies and the Costco Chocolate Lover’s Cookie Pack.

Location in Store

You can find these raspberry crumble cookies in the bakery section, near the other cookies. The item number is 1490840.

Taste

These Costco raspberry cookies are delightful. They’re like a butter shortbread cookie, soft, slightly sweet and crumbly. There’s a delicious, sugary, flavorful raspberry jam in the middle that pairs perfectly with the buttery soft cookie.

Each cookie has a generous amount of raspberry jam filling!

To top it off there’s a light dusting of powdered sugar on top. Together all of these components create an amazingly indulgent and delicious cookie. Here’s a tip: microwave your cookie for a few seconds to make the jam extra gooey and the cookie slightly warm.

Cost

The raspberry crumble cookies at Costco cost $9.99 Canadian for the pack of 12 cookies. This is more expensive than the Ginger Cookies or Chocolate Lover’s Cookie Pack that has 24 cookies.

Don’t the cookies look so good with the icing sugar dusted on top?

Convenience

These are perfect for the holiday season. The best before date is five days from the date these were packaged. I have frozen my raspberry crumble cookies and they freeze just fine.

The Kirkland Signature Rapsberry Crumble Cookies are perfect for a cookie tray or dessert platter. They’re great for individuals who don’t like chocolate cookies or have a sweet tooth for shortbread-like cookies.

Nutrition

Calories

How many calories are in one Costco Raspberry Crumble Cookie? There are 340 calories, 19 grams of fat, 40 grams of carbohydrates, 21 grams of sugar, one gram of fibre and 95 mg of sodium. That’s a lot of calories for one cookie but isn’t that surprising either. Definitely worth it!

Ingredients

When you make cookies from scratch, you know exactly what’s going into them. Usually simple things like butter, eggs, flour and sugar. When you buy store-bought cookies that usually comes with a super long ingredients list with some ingredients that have you scratching your head.

Some ingredients individuals may not be fond of are the palm and palm kernel oils.

I usually go for cookies with chocolate in them but I absolutely love the Costco Raspberry Crumble Cookies!

Have you tried these? What did you think of them?

  1. I love these cookies. They are big enough to share with someone special. These are great during the Christmas season when guests come to visit. I could not find them for a while and had my family checking Costco’s in the cities where they work. My daughter found them and brought me home a tray. I hope they come back full time and not just seasonal.

  2. I picked up the last pack of the raspberry crumble cookies in DC today. There were no more anywhere! I checked Costco in Arlington, VA and sadly I found none. I even remember exact location where they were placed before – Costco added some weird muffins with artificial cream on top of them. I was devastated! If raspberry crumble cookies don’t come back – I will have no reason to buy milk at Costco.

  3. These are unbelievably delicious. My husband and I were at Costco and spotted the 3-pack of cinnamon loaves. I started to grab a container and my husband (who’s trying to lose some weight) said, “No, those are like crack. We can’t.” Then we saw the raspberry crumble cookies and I said, “We should get these instead.” Bad move because they are just as addictive as the cinnamon loaves, and just as caloric. I never eat a whole cookie, but just looked up the calorie count – 340 calories per cookie! I guess I’ll start quartering them. Hard to resist.

  4. The very best Costco cookie. I have bought waaaay too many and often give them as gifts. Now thinking of searching for a Copy Cat recipe to make them.

  5. I’m a shortbread AND raspberry lover so these caught my attention right away. And, they didn’t disappoint; tender buttery shortbread with a delightful raspberry filling and a dusting of sweetness. I agree that willpower is definately required for these to last!

  6. I love these cookies! Bought them for the first time two days ago.
They remind me of something my grandmother made in my childhood and I hope Costco keeps making them. May be an unpopular opinion but I love the size. I know the calories are a lot but I will eat just one with a cup of coffee. If they were smaller, who knows how many I might eat!! I do agree with the reviewer that called them addictive – absolutely!!

  7. I love, love, love these delicious large cookies! I’ve frozen them in the past and use parchment paper to separate the cookies in a ziplock bag before I freeze them.

  8. “Slightly sweet”??? Are you kidding?! Lol 😂 21 grams of sugar is more than 6 tsp per cookie! That said, I do agree that they sure are tasty. I would prefer less jam and wish that they made all their cookies a bit smaller. I’ve actually stopped buying them because I can’t resist them
. they’re even good partly frozen đŸ„¶đŸ™„

  9. Why is Costco not selling the raspberry crumble cookies, this time of year. They are selling tons of chocolate chip cookies but not the crumble cookies. Everyone makes chocolate chip cookies. But the raspberry crumbles are not as easy to make. I don’t get it. Theses cookies would be perfect for parties and gifts. I’m so disappointed they are not selling them. Does anyone know why they are not selling them? Thanks for letting me vent lol 😉

  10. I bought these last summer when I had access to lots of fresh wild raspberries, and used them as a base for raspberry tarts. I spread the cookies with sweetened cream cheese, arranged the raspberries on top, and served them with a dollop of whipped cream. I suppose if you felt fancy, you could use different kinds of berries and glaze them with some jelly. It was a lovely dessert for days when it was too hot to bake.

  12. I recently bought a pack after I saw they were on sale. They were SO GOOD! I regret not thinking of putting them in the microwave, but they tasted amazing with a nice hot cup of tea.
