Costco Kirkland Signature frozen pizza is not only convenient but pretty tasty!
Today I’m reviewing the Costco Kirkland Signature Pepperoni Pizza. This has been around at my Costco for quite some time but I haven’t reviewed it until today.
I have previously reviewed the Costco Kirkland Signature Cheese Pizza. Additionally, if you’re looking for a frozen pizza from Costco that’s gluten-free you may want to check out the Costco Sabatasso’s Gluten-Free Four Cheese Pizza. I often like to make pizza at home using the Costco Molinaro’s Pizza Crust Kit.
Location in Store
You can find the Kirkland Signature Pepperoni Pizza in the freezer aisle at Costco. The item number is 1429512.
Taste
For a frozen pizza, this isn’t bad! The crust got nice and crispy but not super crisp. It still had a slight bit of softness as well as chewiness. The edge of the pizza crust became golden brown and crisp after baking but not so crisp that it’s hard.
There isn’t a ton of cheese on the pizza but there’s enough to make it enjoyable. There’s not a ton of sauce either but the sauce is tasty and has a nice bit of tanginess.
There’s lots of pepperoni on the pizza! The pepperoni has a nice mild flavor with a tiny bit of heat and spice.
Cost
I paid $16.99 Canadian for the box of four 555 gram pizzas.
Convenience
The best before date on the pizza is about six months from the date I purchased the pizzas. They need to be kept frozen until you’re ready to bake them.
Although the pizza only has pepperoni and cheese on it you can definitely use this as a base pizza and add extra toppings! Green pepper, mushrooms, bacon and fresh tomato are just a few ideas.
The baking instructions are labeled on each individual pizza which is really convenient because you don’t need to keep the big box if you only have one or two pizzas left!
The baking instructions are quite simple! Preheat the oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit, remove all the packaging and cook the pizza directly on the oven rack for 12 to 15 minutes.
When I cook the pizza directly on my oven rack I find that grease, cheese or sauce tends to melt off and get on the bottom of my oven. To prevent this from happening I put a cookie sheet underneath the pizza to catch any drippings!
This frozen Costco Kirkland Signature Pepperoni Pizza makes a quick and convenient lunch or dinner.
Nutrition
Calories
Definitely not a healthy meal! One-third of the pizza is 470 calories, 20 grams of fat, 47 grams of carbohydrates, two grams of fibre, five grams of sugar, 26 grams of protein and 1080 mg of sodium. I could easily eat half a pizza or more for dinner!
Ingredients
These are ingredients I would expect to see in a frozen or takeout pizza. The pizza contains gluten and milk and it’s produced in Canada using domestic and imported ingredients.

Overall
Give it a try!
I think kids would really love this pizza for a fun Friday or Saturday night meal! I think it’s pretty good for a frozen pizza.
Have you tried this? What did you think?

This is thecworst frozen pizza ive ever tried. It’s basically too much pepperoni on a slab of cardboard-fkavored crust. Worst crust ever. The sauce is nearly absent, and the cheese is a laugh. No redeeming qualities, whatsoever.
Not that good. There’s a lot of tasty pepperoni but the sauce and crust are weak.
I need to noif contains peanuts tree nuts y grandson has peanut allergy thank u
We love this pizza. The sauce is particularly good. BUT I get stomach issues every time we eat it, more than any other pizza type. I do have yeast issues and the yeast seems high on the ingredient list. Is this pizza higher in yeast than most? Since it is a flat, thin crust, that surprises me.
We have been buying the pepperoni version in the past, and it has
been quite good. I don’t know if they changed the recipe, but we baked one for 12 minutes and the crust was like cardboard. They also seem smaller than before. We will get rid of the last three or return them.
Suggestion: don’t buy.

It’s definitely changed. Used to have a crispy, almost pastry type of crust, but now is like you said, just like cardboard. Won’t be buying anymore, which is a bummer because its been a household staple for years!

This is literally THE WORST pizza I’ve ever had and I’m a guy that thinks there’s no such thing as bad pizza!! This is terrible!! It’s bland and tastes like cardboard.
DO NOT BUY this horrible pizza!!
What size is this pizza? Is it 12” or bigger/smaller?
12 inches. The cheese is smaller.
I’ve been getting the Kirkland Cauliflower crust supreme pizza which was so very delicious. But the ones I recently bought do not have the pizza sauce. So that flavor is missing. It was a big part of the full palette great taste I was experiencing . If they put any sauce at all it cannot be seen or tasted. It was so perfect when I purchased it last month. I hope this was just an error and that great taste will return.
This is a very tasty pizza indeed that will not do much to improve one’s nutrition profile. But it’s fine every once in a while. The rest of the time one can indulge oneself handsomely with the Kirkland Cheese Pizza, which is pretty good as well.
Pizza update: Costco has changed the cheese pizza ingredients and as a predictable result the once-okay product no longer tastes the same. I no longer buy it.
The cheese pizza they make and bake at the warehouse is outstanding as ever, though.
WOW !!
I couldn’t touch this pizza because of the sodium level 🙁
