Costco now carries their own Kirkland Signature Organic Oat Beverage!
Kirkland Signature Oat Beverage has hit the shelves at Costco! The Costco Kirkland Signature Oat Milk which is what I’m reviewing today! I don’t usually drink cow’s milk and mostly gravitate towards almond milk but am excited to be trying this oat milk from Costco for a change!
Other non-dairy beverages from Costco I’ve reviewed are the Costco Almond Breeze Unsweetened Original Almond Milk, Costco Kirkland Signature Organic Almond Milk and the Costco milkadamia Macadamia Beverage.
Location in Store
You can find the oat milk near all the other non-dairy and alternate beverages. The oat milk doesn’t come refrigerated and the item number is 1272413.
Taste
This is so delicious! It’s extremely creamy. It does taste like oats and does have a bit of a sunflower flavor. It’s sweeter than almond milk or cow’s milk. It kind of has a flavor of milk that’s slightly sweetened from sitting in a bowl of cereal. I really like it.
With almond milk I never want to drink a glass of it straight but I don’t mind the Kirkland Signature Oat Beverage on it’s own! It would go well with a slice of chocolate cake or a cookie but tastes amazing with cereal.
Cost
You get six 946 milliliter containers of oat beverage in a box for $10.99 Canadian which is quite reasonable! Oat milk at my local grocery store is three to five dollars for one container.
Convenience
The oat beverage has a best before date of about 10 months from the date I purchased it. Once opened you need to refrigerate the oat beverage and the container recommends shaking it well before serving it. Also it’s suggested to consume with seven to 10 days of opening it.
This is great for coffee, cereal or to enjoy on it’s own.
Nutrition
Calories
One cup of Costco Kirkland Signature Oat Beverage is 130 calories, five grams of fat, 17 grams of carbohydrates, two grams of fibre, seven grams of sugar, three grams of protein and 100 mg of sodium. This has more calories, sugar, carbohydrates and fat than almond milk.
Ingredients
I don’t love that there’s sunflower oil in this but there could be worse things! All of the ingredients are organic. The oat beverage from Costco is also fortified meaning they add Vitamin D2, Zinc, Riboflavin, Vitamin A and Vitamin B 12.

I thought the oat milk at Costco IS gluten free!!!!! IS it not?
A lot of oats have cross contamination with wheat.
Being a diabetic and allergic to tree nuts, I love this except the carbs/ calories. Wish they could reduce the reason why it says 7grams added sugars….when is it added and how? Would buy more of this, but can’t because of the sugar.
There is no added sugar in Kirkland organic oat milk, it also has 400mg of calcium.
That is 400mg per 1 cup
does this oat beverage have monsantos round up in it (Glyphosate) it’s not only used as a weed killer (herbicide) it’s sprayed on all oats (other than organic) to hasten drying time (saves farmers money). much higher than government regulation are being found in our grains (oats). Monsanto has and is currently loosing court battles and law suits over the toxicity of Glyphosate.
P.S. These grains are also being fed to our farm animals and are being found in dairy milk in excess of regulations. Do I Have To By Organic.
Yes, You must buy Organic if you want to avoid Glyphosates (Round Up)
and GMO’s.
It’s good, but I wish it wasn’t sweetened. I’m not going to buy it anymore. WHY do companies feel the need to add sugar to everything? If people want it sweeter, they can add sugar. But if people don’t want it sweetened, its not possible to remove sugar. I think I’m just going to make my own from now on. Food Companies have our entire society so addicted to sugar it’s insane. They know it’s addictive, and that’s why they keep adding more and more to everything.
They don’t sweeten it. “Sugars” are produced in the process of extracting the “milk” from the oats. There is no way to avoid the sweetness.
On the US label, right under the “7 grams of sugar” line is another line: “7 grams added sugar”.
Yes, If you want to avoid “Round Up” and GMO’s you must buy organic.

Great product. I agree with Dave Peterson about the useless container. I pour the contents into my own pitcher upon opening container.
This is the best oat milk so far. My whole family love it.
My husband loves it too!
The oat milk itself is good, but the container is a disaster. The plastic spigot breaks off almost immediately, then there’s no easy way to seal the container or to pour without making a mess.
Really?! I haven’t found that yet.
I’ve been drinking it for years and never once had that. Like, the entire plastic part comes off? Or? Lol
I would like Kirkland to develop an oat milk that is also gluten-free
