Taste

I usually prefer milk chocolate but when I find good dark chocolate I really enjoy it. This reminds me kind of like a chocolate bark and the Kirkland Signature Organic Dark Chocolate Belgian Thins are delicious! The dark chocolate is high quality, smooth, silky, melt in your mouth, bold flavored goodness. On top of the dark chocolate is a scattering of sea salt, sliced almonds and toasted coconut. My favorite bites are the ones with sea salt because I find the sea salt compliments the dark chocolate so well. The sliced almonds and toasted coconut pieces are also enjoyable but the sea salt is definitely where it’s at. The Costco Kirkland Signature Organic Dark Chocolate Belgian Thins are simply scrumptious.

Cost

I purchased the 500 gram bag for $10.99 Canadian. This isn’t overly expensive for an organic high-quality dark chocolate product!

Convenience

I’m enjoying these as an after-dinner treat. They’d also make a perfect afternoon snack and would also be great for a road trip. The bag is resealable which I totally appreciate and the best before date is over 6 months from the date I purchased the Costco Kirkland Signature Organic Dark Chocolate Belgian Thins.

Nutrition

Two pieces (40 grams) of dark chocolate Belgian thins is 210 calories, 14 grams of fat, 16 grams of sugar, three grams of fibre, three grams of protein and 21 grams of carbohydrates. The ingredients list is also short and sweet. The Kirkland Signature Organic Dark Chocolate Belgian Thins are gluten free and organic. The ingredients are also fair trade ingredients.

I’m totally enjoying little nibbles of this product every night after dinner. I would definitely repurchase this again if I wanted a delicious, dark chocolate treat.

  1. Love the Belgian thins. This is my favorite chocolate snack sold at Costco. The dark chocolate is smooth and not too sweet. The coconut and almonds add just the right amount of crunch too! I wish Costco would bring this product back soon.

  2. OMG, I love the Belgian Thins. It is the only treat that I can eat bc it’s not loaded with additives and didn’t set of cravings. When it became available last Spring I bought enough to last me through November. I went through about one bag a week. I pray that Costco brings it back again.
