Costco Kirkland Signature Organic Fruit & Vegetable Pouches Review

Convincing a toddler to eat their vegetables is not always easy and even if you try to hide veggies in things, they seem to catch on. These Kirkland Signature Organic Fruit & Vegetable Pouches from Costco make it much simpler because they don’t look or taste like they have vegetables in them but they do! Find out below why I think these pouches should be added to your families snack selection!

If you’re looking for lunch or snack items for kids, some other products that Costco sells are the Naked Smoothie Variety Pack, Kirkland Signature Mini Chocolate Chip Cookies, Treasure Mills School Safe Banana Chocolate Chip Cakes, MadeGood Granola Minis, Gogo Squeez Pouches, Kirkland Signature Cheese, Fruit & Nut Packs, Welch’s Fruit Snacks and the Kirkland Signature Soft & Chewy Granola Bars.

Location in Store

We bought these while vacationing in Kona, Hawaii. I haven’t seen them in Costco Canada yet but I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re available here soon. The item number is 1538539 and I found them on the side of the store at Costco, near the beverages.

There are two flavors in the box, apple strawberry spinach is one.

Taste

Although these have vegetables in them, you can’t taste them at all so they’re an easy way to sneak some vegetables in your kiddos diet. The apple, strawberry, spinach tastes mostly like apple sauce with a hint of strawberry flavor. You can’t taste the spinach at all.

My toddler likes both flavors!

The apple, mango, yellow carrot, peach tastes like sweetened, tropical apple sauce. The mango and peach flavor aren’t distinct but you can tell it’s not just apple sauce. There is no hint of carrot flavor that I could notice.

Cost

The box comes with 24 90 gram pouches and costs $11.49 USD which isn’t bad in my opinion. Especially considering they’re organic!

Convenience

Each pouch has a convenient pull of cap. You can reseal the pouch with the cap if you or your kid aren’t going to finish the pouch in one sitting. The best before date on the pouches is about ten months from when I purchased them.

There are 24 pouches in the box.

The box recommends refrigerating pouches after opening them and consuming them within 24 hours. My toddler often doesn’t finish a full pouch so I make sure to not let them get past 24 hours so bacteria doesn’t grow.

These are perfect for snacks on the go not only for kids but adults! A lot of runners use these pouches during long runs to help give them a boost of carbohydrates and sugar.

Must buy!

My toddler loved these pouches and I was so happy to have a convenient snack to take to the beach or on long car rides. I felt good about giving her these because of the bonus veggies added!
