Combining sparkling Moscato with tropical and sweet mango puree the Costco Mamamango Moscato looks like the perfect summer drink! You may be wondering, is this mango Moscato too sweet? Is it versatile and does it taste more like a sparkling fruit juice or a wine? Find out below!
When I first saw this mango Moscato in my local Costco liquor store, I immediately wanted to try it. I love mango flavor and have always enjoyed Moscato. I was also hosting a bridal shower so I wanted to find out if others enjoy the Costco Mamamango Moscato.
Other alcoholic beverages I’ve reviewed at Costco are the Costco Mama Peach Moscato, Costco Kirkland Signature Frozen Cocktails, Costco Kirkland Signature Vodka, Costco Kirkland Signature Anejo Tequila, Costco Kirkland Signature Golden Margarita and the Costco Kirkland Signature Strawberry Margarita.
Location in Store
You can find this in the Costco Liquor Store. I know Costco does not carry liquor in some Canadian provinces due to liquor laws. The item number is 588621.
Taste
This is a perfect pour for any fun summer events! The Mamamango is quite sweet so it tastes more like a carbonated fruit juice than a sparkling wine but a lot of people will like that. The flavor from the Moscato is very light and mostly overpowered by the fresh mango pulp.
It’s very refreshing and really delicious, if you preferred you could add a bit more sparkling wine to cut the sweetness a bit, but I think it’s perfect on it’s own. The real mango pulp and puree is a game changer compared to other artificially flavored beverages.
Cost
The 750 milliliter bottle costs $9.49 Canadian at Costco, which is really reasonable in my opinion! Liquor prices fluctuate depending on where you are in the world but for where I am, this is really reasonable.
Convenience
The bottle recommends shaking the bottle gently before serving, this is because there’s fresh mango puree and the pulp settles on the bottom. Make sure to chill it well first! My mom likes to add ice to hers while others enjoy it just chilled.
This is perfect for a brunch, bridal or baby shower or an afternoon cocktail on the deck! The best before date listed on my bottle is over two years from the date we purchased the Costco Mamamango.
Nutrition
Calories
In a 5 ounce serving there are 104 calories, zero grams of fat, 13 grams of carbohydrates, 13 grams of sugar and zero grams of protein. I was expecting the sugar content to be a little bit higher per 5 ouncd serving. Definitely not nutritious in any way but I like to think I’m getting some extra fruit into my diet by drinking this!
Ingredients
The Costco Mamamango Moscato has 6% alcohol and the first ingredient listed is sparkling Moscato wine. The ingredients list is no different than what I would expect to see for a beverage like this.

Is this still available in some warehouses in the tri-state area?
I live in BC, where can I find this product?
Unfortunately, BC does not allow Costco to have liquor. You could possibly ask your local liquor store!
How come I cannot find it in the warehouse this year??
It’s at my Costco currently! Along with the peach.
Hi Natalie, can you share the zip code where you did find it please?
In Edmonton Alberta! It’s all across Alberta and in the US.
