Costco Culinary Treasures Jalapeno Lime Aioli Review

Today I’m reviewing the Costco Culinary Treasures Jalapeno Lime Aioli. I love sweet potato fries but I prefer them with some sort of dip so I picked this aioli up as a dip for my sweet potato fries!

Other Culinary Treasures products from Costco are the Culinary Treasures Avocado Goddess Dressing, Culinary Treasures Chipotle Aioli and the Culinary Treasures Roasted Garlic & Chili Aioli. Another condiment I love from Costco is the Johnny’s Black Garlic Vinaigrette and the Kewpie Deep Roasted Sesame Dressing & Marinade.

Taste

I love this aioli, I find it to be really delicious. I was a bit unsure if I’d like it because I don’t love spicy dips and this has jalapeno in it but it’s not all too spicy. It’s got just a bit of heat that’s more of an aftertaste. Although this is a jalapeno lime aioli I don’t taste any lime flavor so I find the jalapeno lime name a bit misleading.

I tried the aioli with sweet potato fries and it was a really nice combination, the creamy aioli with a bit of heat tones down the sweetness. Overall the little bit of spice coming from the jalapenos is the main flavor on top of the cooling and creamy garlic aioli flavor. I can easily eat a ton of this!

Cost

The cost is $8.99 Canadian for a two-pack of aioli and each bottle is 750 milliliters.

Convenience

The Costco Culinary Treasures Jalapeno Lime Aioli is so versatile! You can use it on sandwiches, burgers, tacos, dip vegetables in it or use it as a dipping sauce for fries.

Once opened, the aioli needs to be kept in the refrigerator and the best before date on my bottles is about nine months from the date I purchased them.

A one-tablespoon serving of jalapeno aioli contains 100 calories, ten grams of fat, one gram of carbohydrates, zero grams of fibre, zero grams of sugar, less than a gram of protein and 90 milligrams of sodium.

Ingredients

This aioli isn’t at all healthy, but what condiments are? The ingredients list is pretty typical for a dip and after doing some research I discovered the calcium disodium EDTA is a food additive.
