Costco is carrying a sparkling wine advent calendar at their liquor stores which I recently purchased! Due to the fact I was super excited to try it and also that I wanted to review it on the blog I’ve already opened mine! The wine advent calendar cost $89.99 Canadian and includes 24 200ml bottles of sparkling wine. I definitely was disappointed it was all sparkling but I still thought it was a fun idea.
Okay so some people are probably going to think I’m a major party pooper right now by reviewing the Costco Christmas sparkling wine advent calendar days and taking the surprise element out of it. This is for the individuals who might be buying the advent calendar as a gift or are just curious about what to expect! SPOILER ALERT… if you don’t want to know which wines are on which day STOP READING NOW….

So the wines are listed on the box and they’re listed in order so day 1 is the first wine on the list and so on.
Day 5 Costco Wine Advent Calendar J.P. Chenet Fashion Apple
Crisp, sweet, tastes like apple. Not my preference but good in its own way. If you like apple cider you might love this one.
Day 6 Costco Wine Advent Calendar J.P. Chenet- Fashion Strawberry/Raspberry
Fruity and a bit artificial tasting but I could see this making amazing Christmas cocktails! Absolutely perfect for a bridal shower or baby shower. Wouldn’t want to drink a ton if it but it’s pretty good.
Day 7 Costco Wine Advent Calendar JP. Chenet Black Edition
Not very sweet at all, very dry, crisp and a bit of sharpness or bite to it! Really refreshing. One of my favorites so far.
Day 8 JP. Chenet Original Demi-Sec
Semi-sweet but not sickeningly sweet. Good standard sparkling wine that’s on the sweet side.
Day 9 JP. Chenet Ice Edition Blanc
Sweet, bubbly another great celebration sparkling wine!
Day 10 J.P. Chenet Fashion Peche
This one tastes boozy! Not too sweet, bubbly, artificial tasting and doesn’t really taste all that much like peach. I thought I’d love this one because I love peach flavor but it wasn’t as amazing as I expected it to be!
Once again my mom was the life of the party and polished off the bottles of sparkling wine that weren’t our favorites. Yes mom, I’m talking about you, party girl!
Stayed tuned for days 11-24 to be reviewed!
