I’m a huge pasta fan and always enjoy ravioli. Pasta is so easy to make and is one of my favorite things to make for dinner during the winter! I saw the Duso’s Jumbo Chicken & Mozzarella when I was at Costco last and decided to pick it up to try. This can be found in the refrigerated section with the other pasta and refrigerated items (meat, cheese).

Taste

Oh no no no. I was so disappointed in this ravioli! I looked forward to it all day while at work and then when I tasted it I immediately was turned off. It tasted more like fish than chicken and even had an unpleasant fishy taste. I also didn’t love the seasoning used in this pasta. We also found bits of hard chicken and gristle while eating this. The pasta noodle itself was fine but the filling just wasn’t good.

Cost

I paid $12.49 Canadian for the two-pack of Costco Duso’s Jumbo Chicken & Mozzarella Ravioli. Definitely not worth it in my opinion.

Convenience

This was super easy to make! Just boil some water and pop it in the boiling water for 6 to 8 minutes. The best before date is about a month from the date I purchased the ravioli.

Nutrition

152 grams of ravioli is 310 calories, 11 grams of fat, 44 grams of carbohydrates, three grams of fibre, 790 mg of sodium, one gram of sugar and 22 grams of protein! The amount of protein isn’t bad for pasta!

I wouldn’t eat or buy this again. Sorry, I’m a honest reviewer and there’s other refrigerated pasta available at Costco that I prefer, the Costco Kirkland Signature Meat Lasagna is really good.

  1. It was just awful! Tastes so bad. I mean it is fishy, but fish is good itself. It is like a fish thats gone bad!!! Gonna return half of the pack.
