Costco Lotus Biscoff Cookies Review

Costco is carrying these vegan, amazing and delicious Biscoff cookies that I can’t get enough of!

I tried Lotus Biscoff cookies for the first time while on an airplane. They were serving these cookies along with the beverages and I absolutely fell in love with them. My Costco is now carrying the Lotus Biscoff cookies and I picked up a box to enjoy and review on the blog.

I’m the Costco cookie reviewing queen! My favorite cookies from Costco are the Kirkland Signature Ginger Cookies, Kirkland Signature Raspberry Crumble Cookies, Leclerc Celebration Milk Chocolate Cookies, Kirkland Signature Peanut Butter Cookies, the Lacey’s Macadamia Milk Chocolate Cookies, the Nonni’s Limoncello Biscotti Bites and the Kirkland Signature Chocolate Lover’s Cookie Pack.

These Lotus Biscoff cookies were not found in the bakery section but found in the aisle with other boxed cookies and crackers, near the front of the store. The item number is 1208941.

Taste

These cookies are simple and super delicious. They’re crunchy, thin and sweet. The Biscoff cookies are like a crisp shortbread cookie that are perfevt for dipping into tea or coffee or great to enjoy alone.

The cookies have a caramel and cinnamon flavor with notes of other spices like ginger, cloves, maybe some nutmeg. They’re quite sweet so one or two cookies completely satisfies my sweet tooth.

I usually always prefer soft cookies and rarely get excited about crispy or crunchy cookies but these are so good that I don’t even care they’re not soft.

Despite the Costco Lotus Biscoff cookies appearing to be a pretty simple cookie, they’re unique tasting, with a distinct flavor profile that you recognize immediately.

Cost

I paid $8.99 Canadian for the 1 kg box of cookies. The box includes four seperate 250 gram sleeves of cookies.

Convenience

There’s four sleeves of cookies in the box which is perfect if you want to share a box with friends or family. The sleeves do not reseal but an opened sleeve of these cookies surely won’t last long. The best before date is about nine months from the date I purchased the cookies.

These are amazing on their own or great with coffee or tea. They also taste wonderful with ice cream or dipped in caramel. They’re perfect for a mid-morning treat and after lunch or dinner for dessert.

  1. Hey! Guess what? I’m reading Costco Connection for December 2023 and in a section without page numbers (?) in about the middle, there’s a page showing some Kirkland Signature desserts. One of them is a “Biscoff Cake”!!!! Unfortunately, there’s absolutely no other info.
I’ll be keeping my eyes peeled for sure!

      • So I asked the bakery folks and they said they’re hoping it’ll be in for Christmas. Apparently it’s good (they had a taste test…. wish I did!) but didn’t provide a good description at all 🤷🏼‍♀️ said something about chocolate??? Ah well, I guess patience is a virtue 😝!

          • Alrighty! I just scooped a cake in my Burlington warehouse at 10:30am on the 23rd. If you Google it, they’re all over TikTok and not available in the U.S.! Hah! Maybe I should write a guest review? Just kidding 😉
            🎄Merry Christmas🎄!

          • Merry Christmas Jan! I plan to be reviewing it next week! Let me know what you think of it! Are you having it for Christmas dinner?

          • Yep! I was going to make a Bavarian Apple Torte but what the heck, I can do that anytime! This cake may be seasonal and disappear so I decided go big or go home, right?!

      • Ok, it’s yummy!!! Sweet but not over the top, and quite rich. It’s cake layered with Biscoff cookie butter cream and vanilla cream and possibly chocolate? Costco bakery employees said “chocolate” but I didn’t really taste that specifically since the flavours blend so well. The cake itself is very easy to cut and plate, serving maybe 16-20 depending on serving size. At $24.99, you can’t beat that price given the size and quality. It’s very tender with a blissful blend of flavours! Apparently, it also freezes well but I never got the chance to test that lol 😋! Bakery staff said it will be a standard (not seasonal) product, given its popularity. The frozen cakes are brought into the bakery then decorated in house. I also totally forgot to check the nutritional/ingredients label but quite frankly, I didn’t care! 😂 And I’d buy it again in a heartbeat.

  2. Love theses cookies but, how long can I safely eat them? Found them on shelf, package already opened… cookies have been in sealed plastic storage bag out of sight, out of mind for several months….will they make me sick? They don’t appear moldy’ still, smell good!

  4. I’ve been reading about Lotus Biscoff cookie spread but have never seen it in Canada. People rave about it online! Have you seen or tried it? If it’s anything like the cookies, it must be yummy!

  5. We love these. We were quite disappointed to be unable to find these or the Stropwaffles at Costco today!

Hope this is a temporary problem!
