Peanut butter cookies from Costco that are so soft, sweet and delicious!
I’m a huge peanut butter cookie fan, actually anything peanut butter tastes good to me. Costco used to carry Kirkland Signature Peanut Butter Cookies in the bakery department which I have review here. I decided to try and review these Costco Simply No Baked Peanut Butter Cookies!
You can find these in the bakery section, they’re not refrigerated and the item number is 1124233.
Taste
These are SO sweet but I still enjoyed them! They’re teetering on the the edge of rot your teeth out sweet but the peanut butter helps tone down the sweetness.
These are a no bake cookie so they’re soft and slightly chewy. They’re basically rolled oats, peanut butter, sugar and oil combined together to make a “cookie”. I really liked the taste of them but knew just from eating them they couldn’t be at all healthy.
Cost
For the container of 24 peanut butter cookies I paid $7.99 Canadian.
Convenience
The cookies come in a resealable plastic container that you can easily pop in the freezer and these do freeze well! The best before date on the cookies is a week from the date I purchased them. Unfortunately these are not school safe due to the peanut butter.
Nutrition
Definitely not a healthy cookie! One cookie is 140 calories, six grams of fat, 18 grams of carbohydrates, one gram of fibre, 10 grams of sugar, three grams of protein and 45 mg of sodium. I’m not loving that the ingredients has sugar as the first ingredient listed and vegetable oil as well.
Also for my gluten-free readers, these are gluten-free because oats are naturally gluten free but if you’re celiac or have to stick not gluten-free rolled oats I would recommend skipping these.
I really liked these cookies if I ignore the nutritional info! They’re soft, very fresh tasting and super peanut buttery! If you love peanut butter cookies I think you’ll definitely love these.
Scoring
Taste: 8/10
Cost: 7/10
Convenience: 10/10 (would love if it resealed)
Nutrition: 1/10
Overall
Give it a try!
I think kids would really love these if they’re not allergic to peanuts! I enjoyed them, I just found them a bit sweet.
