I love Girl Scouts and Girl Guides cookies! Maybe it’s just the fact that they’re never around for long, but they always taste better than your typical packaged cookie to me. I was pretty excited when I saw these Edward Marc Girl Scouts Thin Mints Bites at Costco. Bringing the flavor of delicious Girl Scouts cookies to a bite-sized snack seems like a great idea, and the Edward Marc brand has a pretty solid track record with similar treats. Are these chocolate mint bites as delicious and addictive as they sound?
Other sweet snack items similar to these from Costco are the Edward Marc Snappers, Creative Snacks Co. Pretzels, OMG! Milk Chocolate Toffee Almond Clusters, Kirkland Signature Peanut Butter Pretzels, ChocXO Dark Chocolate Coconut Cups, Unreal Dark Chocolate Coconut Minis, Innofoods Keto Clusters and the Jojo’s Dark Chocolate Bites.
Location in Store
I bought these at the Kalispell, Montana Costco, located in the snack section. Near the front of the store. The item number is 1741078.
Taste
I’m not even the biggest fan of the mint Girl Scouts cookies but I absolutely love these Thin Mints Bites. They’re insanely addictive (they should come with a warning) and just have the perfect combination of sweet chocolate, cool mint, and cookie crunch.
They’re similar to the mint cookies but in a bite-size version. They have a crunchy crispy cookie center surrounded by frosty mint covered in dark chocolate. The cookie center is my favorite part about these. My family all love them and I’m a bit disappointed we don’t have them in Canada, I should have bought more than one bag!
I recommend trying them straight from the freezer, they’re excellent that way!
Cost
The 567-gram bag costs $12.59 USD at Costco which in my opinion after trying them is totally worth it. There are quite a few bites of heaven in the bag but not enough if you’re sharing with extended family like I am.
Convenience
The bag reseals which helps keep the bites fresh and the best-before date is about 14 months from when I purchased them. They’re made in the USA and the bag recommends storing them in a cool, dry place.
Both kids and adults will love these and one bag won’t last long! I think they’d be great to bring camping, on a road trip or just to enjoy at home.
Nutrition
Calories
Nine bites contain 140 calories, seven grams of fat, 55 milligrams of sodium, 19 grams of carbohydrates, one gram of fiber, 16 grams of sugar and one gram of protein.
Although it’s hard to stop eating these, my sweet tooth is definitely satisfied after eating nine. 140 calories and seven grams of fat isn’t too bad for nine in my opinion!
Ingredients
I don’t expect snack products like this to have a single healthy ingredient in them. They have sustainably sourced cocoa and no preservatives or artificial flavors. Some ingredients I don’t love seeing are palm kernel oil, high fructose corn syrup and of course sugar.
These Thin Mints Bites contain wheat, milk and soy. They may contain peanuts, tree nuts, wheat, milk, soy and eggs.

I love these. Honestly, even if mint chocolate isn’t your thing, you might be surprised by how much you enjoy these!

They’re the best! Love to have a couple from the freezer after a meal. Found them recently at our Costco in Oxnard, CA but people are on to them now so unfortunately their out of stock. 😢 And be warned, one bag is not enough!
